It is recommendable to leave the appendix "-33a0" unchanged.

The appendix "-33a0" is a helper for individualisation. It helps avoiding accidental collisions with other IDs on your and your partners systems.

Recommendation:

If my name is John Smith, I could e.g. change the ID from "ID?-33a0" to "jsmith-33a0".
